Call us and a Registered Nurse visits your home at no cost to review your diagnosis, medications, mobility, safety risks, and what your family needs.
2. Physician-Approved Plan of Care
We write a plan of care with measurable goals, confirm it with your physician, and set the visit schedule for nursing, therapy, and aide services.
3. Care Begins & Is Reviewed
Your assigned nurses, therapists, and aides begin care, document every visit, and report progress to your doctor — with the plan adjusted as you improve.

Skilled nursing is hands-on clinical care that legally must be performed by a licensed nurse — wound care, IV therapy and injections, catheter and feeding tube care, medication administration, and assessment of a changing condition. At Gelin Home Care Services that care is delivered in your home by our RNs and LPNs under a plan of care approved by your physician, alongside physical, occupational, and speech therapy and our personal care and homemaker services. Depending on your plan of care: a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse for clinical visits, a licensed physical, occupational, or speech therapist for rehabilitation, and a certified home health aide or CNA for personal care. Every clinician holds a current Florida licence or certification, and all staff are interviewed, reference checked, background screened, and supervised by our Director of Nursing.
Skilled nursing and therapy services are provided under a physician-ordered plan of care, so a doctor’s order is required — but you do not have to arrange it alone. Call us first: we will complete the free in-home nursing assessment and contact your physician to obtain the order. Personal care, companion, and homemaker services can begin without a physician order.
Yes. We staff hourly visits, overnight shifts, live-in caregivers, and continuous 24-hour care with nursing oversight. Scheduled nursing and therapy visits are arranged around the plan of care, and a nurse is on call around the clock for active clients — nights, weekends, and holidays.
Call our 24/7 on-call nurse. Aides and caregivers are trained to recognise and report changes immediately, and a nurse will assess by phone, arrange an unscheduled visit if needed, and contact your physician. In a life-threatening emergency our staff call 911 first, then notify your family and doctor. This is how we help clients avoid unnecessary hospital readmissions.
